Alan Murray
Alan Murray (b. 1971, London, England) is a contemporary painter based in London, England. Working primarily in oil on linen and wood, his practice draws inspiration from the techniques and traditions of the Old Masters. He is best known for his still life paintings, which reinterpret classical painting methods through a contemporary perspective.
Murray’s work focuses on the study of light and its interaction with everyday objects and fruit.
